Why You Will Fail at Multi-Level Marketing

Multi-Level Marketing, MLM, is an online marketing business model that has been raging in popularity for years. Multi-level marketing is similar to, yet different from, affiliate marketing, but you’re still marketing as an affiliate for MLM companies. When you make a sale you’ll earn a commission. Part of the marketing plan is to recruit other affiliates to join your team, or downline as it’s called.

Another way to earn is whenever a downline team member makes a sale, you’ll receive a percentage from that sale. Extra commissions are made when the people you recruited have affiliates who make sales. The general goal for most is to build a large downline so it gets to the point where it’s not necessary to actually work, anymore. We’ll share some great suggestions to help you with your own multi-level marketing business.

Teach your down line members well, but don’t do their jobs for them. We all have to stand on our own, so that includes your downline, too. If you do their jobs for them, they will never learn how to make money for you on their own. But if you lead and show them by your own actions, then they’ll be more inclined to do as you do. So if you deviate from that, and fail to do that, then you’ll become just any regular affiliate marketer doing some weird chicken dance. Teach them to survive because that’s what a good recruiter is supposed to do. This business rests on the efforts of a team. Be careful about any hype you hear from recruits promising you hundreds of sales each month. Concentrate on those who are able to make consistent sales each month. If a team member is experiencing a tough time during any month, you’ll be able to absorb it. Lots of MLM’ers want to have the ‘power sellers’ on their team, so if that’s you just know it takes real time and effort to make that happen. But just keep in mind that any time spent on that campaign could be used to work with existing members to improve their performance.

Always approach MLM Launch Formula as being a serious and real business. It will help you a lot to work with your recruiter, and devise a business and marketing plan of attack. Also create and write down your goals because this will help you to stay focused. Make sure, though, that you make plans that are realistic and that you set strict deadlines for yourself. Always try to be patient with business. You’ll need to have patience to become successful and profitable. Never give up. The smartest thing to do is work your business each and every day. Anything is possible, but it’s normal to not make much at all for a while. Expect to work hard and make hundreds of dollars eventually. The more patient you are, the less you will stress out. For people who cannot get motivated, refuse to waste any time on them. Unfortunately many have fire in their bellies when they first sign-up, but then they quickly fade away when they get a taste for what’s involved.

You know how it can be, you’ll come across some lazies who want other people in the group to do all the work, not just the hard work – all the work. Do not waste your time with these people. If anyone in your downline is like that, get rid of them fast. It’s just that people who are serious about the business will have no problem doing work.

Always operate with honesty with your downline. Never hype them with claims about outrageous earnings. Let them know very simply and clearly that they have to put the work in if they ever hope to get anywhere. People can easily become discouraged if the goals or expectations are artificially high. When that happens, you’ll be on the recruiting treadmill and spending all your time there. So it’s really good to be totally open and honest with prospects. They will appreciate it and work even harder to keep you happy. {If treated as it should be, it’s more than possible to make excellent money with multi-level marketing. There’s a mistaken belief held by many that you can make a lot of money very quickly. It can appear to be like that, for sure. But there are MLM businesses that are 100% legitimate.
